Leaving Pepper House at about 11 today, after making sure that I've brought all my stuff, only to discovered that I still left out my toothbrush in the end...
It felt okay at first even with the big bag on my back, but after about walking for over an hour, I was starting to pant. It's really fortunate that I had been carrying all my stuff in a backpack instead of a suitcase, just think about dragging the suitcase in all the sandy and rocky road for an hour, my hands went limp against the imagination.
There were many friendly tuk tuk drivers who offered me a ride to the station but all I do was refuse them with a tired smile on my sweat-streaked face. I had explored the road and this region yesterday, it's only a matter of time before I arrived at my destination.

But I often wonder, who's idea was it to set the bus station so far away from the old city? I deposited my big backpacker once upon arrival, walked around with light gear. We were located at the rear of the city, so there weren't really much to see.
I had dinner at Mc Donald's, and just kicked back in the diner reading my novel, passing time. I approached NCA, took my luggage out a bit past nine, did a quick check in and boarded the bus. It looked really comfortable, providing the passengers with water, snacks, sandwiches and juice, sweet!
The seat was pretty comfy, offering small pillows, paddles that could be adjusted to your liking, there was even a blanket for you to cover yourself. I put on my jacket to prevent myself from catching a cold, since the air conditioning was so cold and was reluctant to respond to my adjusting.
After a quick glimpse around, most of the tourists had already closed their eyes and fell to sleep, some of them even let out slight snoring, c'mon, it's only 10, how was I supposed to sleep! Well, I tried my best to do so, thinking about how easy this ride would have become if I just fell asleep and woke up to see Bangkok at hands! I put on my earphones but the music just drove up my spirit.
Man, it was about 3 in the morning before I really fell unconscious, to my recall. And woke up at about six feeling all sore and exhausted. I'm starting to hate bus travels at night.
