Got on the 9:15 plane and was flying smoothly until my stomach kept making embarrassing noises. I could feel for its complaints for I haven't had anything to eat except for some cookies since yesterday.
The plane arrived at Chiang Mai airport earlier than predicted, I found the legendary taxi meter where I paid 120b inside, got a receipt and took the taxi outside. It took the taxi driver some time before he succeeded in finding the hostel Pepper House, where I was staying, it was inside the Chiang Mai Old City, and stuck in one of the narrow lanes. It was very cheap, but without air conditioning or a fridge. It was really hot, but I guessed I would have to put up with the heat and everything.
The exploration of the Old City was a good and amazing one, it was very comfy inside the city, there were no annoying and crowded traffic inside the city; the people were friendly and nice; foods and souvenirs were pretty cheap and great. I had some of the famous spicy pork rice for only 50 B inside a small restaurant and it tasted great!

And I found that Chiang Mai was a really suitable place for family vacation, there were many foreign families and couples walking around, having their time of the lives and enjoying, relaxing. It was starting to feel lonely encountering these kinds of scenes.

There was also this market I found on the map, which was called TOPS, it was pretty much like the one Woolworth in Australia, but a little bit smaller. It felt very modern and clean inside, so I bought some of the juice, one fermented milk to my liking and drank them on my way home.
In conclusion of this great place Chiang Mai's first day tour, I would love to give it a two handed perfect thumbs up.
