I had several Malaysian classmates while I was still in the Shanghai Singapore Internation School having my primary education. And they had always told me about their capital Kuala Lumpur and how I must pay it a visit if I had chance to travel to Malaysia. Well, here I come!
I got up at 7:30 sharp and shouldered the backpacks. I was still feeling a little bit sleepy, but spread my legs and kept my pace. The sunlight and temperature were much better than I hoped, though it was a 50-minute walk, I still made it without any air knocked out of my breath.
Many backpackers recommended bus companies like transnasional or KKKL, my plan would be to take the KMK, for it was the lesser of the few that went straight to Station Puduraya rather than the North Station TBS. However, I changed my mind and took the 707 express at 8:30 to Kuala Lumpur, for I had arrived at the Sentral too early and preferred heading out first to waiting at the Station. (707 costed me about 10RMs to get to KL)
The bus was like a jumpy pig, dancing along the way; few people, strong air conditioning, I arrived at my destination only a bit past eleven. 707 had taken me to the TBS rather than Puduraya, but that was fine by me. I went directly from the station to the next building where Rapid KL was located, took the LRT and headed downtown to puduraya station. (I had mistaken the Puduraya station of the LRT with the Pudu Sentral of buses, but the former was actually closer to my new stay)
I walked from the station and made my way to UFO Capsule Hotel in 30 minutes, and since I had booked my accommodation online, the procedures were pretty smooth. The auntie at the front desk recommended me the upper capsule, for it's above the lower capsules and would be less-disturbed by walking stayers.
The capsules were bunked together in a dark corridor, with the shared bathroom in the end. The capsule was like a small private space, just enough to fit one person. I dragged my bags up on to my bunk and laid them at the opening of my capsule before dodging inside. The capsule only offer the height to sit up, but no more room to stand or stretch, it had actually provided us with some poor quality of crawling time inside.

The electricity generator of the whole capsule depended on one latch in my capsule, and mine didn't really worked smoothly. Sometimes the switch just jutted out and left me in total darkness, so I decided to go out for a walk once settled. (There was a shade that covered the entrance to your own capsule, without any solid door or locks)
I started out for the area of Bukit Bintang, and their most popular street of Jalan Pudu, there were malls and shopping centres everywhere! But I still caught no sight of supermarkets where I could refresh my supplies of drinks and foods.

Kuala Lumpur is like a modern city, yet there were still many traditional and local booths in small lanes, which were really cute. However, the traffic was really a mess, people on mortorcycles care no such thing as the traffic light and pedestrians were jaywalking all around the city...

I spent my whole day exploring the Bukit area, and even located the Puduraya Sentral. Dinner was laksa, my favorite! But it was the Assam Laksa from Penang and much different from the Singapore ones I used to eat. The bowl was full of brownish soup without hot red spices, chicken and coconut milk. There was another dish called the White Curry from Penang, and it seemed much more alike to my ideal Laksa. Anyway, it's still pretty cool to have tasted some kind of new dishes.
