7/09 Experiencing Frankfurt

It hit me that the total flight time to Frankfurt will be 12 hours instead of 6 due to the jet lag. And that's why the plane cabin was still pitch dark by the time I woke. There was a pretty burly guy from Switzerland sitting by my side and eventually we got to chatting and stories telling.

He even tried to teach me about the dialect he was speaking XD At about three o'clock in the morning, Taiwan time, we were served some beef rice and I spent the rest of my flight watching Avengers 2, dozing off, chatting and had one final flight snack at two in the morning, Frankfurt time.

The landing was smooth and my entry to Germany was also pretty pleasant comparing to a few Chinese who were struggling to amswer the given questions.

I led the Taiwanese girls Amy and Maple that I met yesterday to the bus from Terminal two to T1, got everybody on the train to Frankfurt Station and brought them to the lobby of the hotel I will be spending tonight. Unfortunately, the hotel was in lack of any other empty room, so we bid goodbye and they were off by themselves to find a new residence.

The weather in Frankfurt was pretty comfortable, especially under the sunlight. The wind was a bit strong and I figured that it wouLD be better with a wollen hat.

So I just wandered about carrying both of my bags, for my hostel requested an extra of 10 for early entry or deposit (check in time is 3 in the afternoon and I arrived in Frankfurt at 6 in the morning==)

Most Frankfurt men are reallh reallg tall and good looking due to my observation, while the women seemed tired and a little bit old XD

They were also really open toward their feelings in the streets: snoggling everywhere and not giving a damn about the others; hugging to say hello instead of waving hands... feels reallh cool about all this.

As I roamed out of Frankfurt University, I encountered two Korean girls, also with heavy backpacks. We hit it off and eventually travelled toward the Northern part of the city together. We even had some cheap but delicious bread in one of the supermarkets. We separated when it was check in time for me.

The room was fine and the receptionist was nice despite all of the foul comments online about this inn. I was feeling pretty exhausted to be honest, but I still managed to pull out the everyday exercise, finished my journal and the daily German studying :)

Guess I would be heading out for the supermarket again after I hit the shower.

  Frankfurt, pretty nice so far.
