7/24 Paris

My ride left at 3:25 sharp in the morning and it's going to be arriving at a transfer station after about three hours. But I was too worried to even take a nap, for I may miss my transferring station in my sleep. So I just sat in the dark doing nothing for three whole hours. Transfer was conducted at Manheim Station and this time the seats were reserved beforehand. Most people were sound asleep but the AC was too cold and frustrating for me, and I stayed up through thw whole ride.

Finally, Paris! I walked from Paris Est to Paris du Nord and it only took a few minutes, and they also served free WiFi that I was extremely grateful for.

Since the hotel policy stated that check in was after three, so I carried all my stuff and started to explore the neighborhood.

Paris was very dirty with litter, snipes, oil on the ground ans there were many beggars and homeless ppeople to be seen around every corner.

And I was asked for money sobkany times that I started to feel resentment toward this city, what exactly is going on about this city?

I checked in at three and decided to visit the Notre Dame. And since I was living in the little India area, all my neighbors were either black or from middle east, and I was a bit frightened when they huddle together with beer in hand or when they kept staring at me.

And rain descended and that was really a buzz killer, and that made my exploration much harder.
Dinner was a small bread and some juice, I also bought two cartons of milk and some cornflakes for breakfast and snack.

The conclusion was that Paris was a bit of a disappointment and most cities in Germany was much better. But the scenery and buildings were awesome and I really look forward to visiting the rest.
