Today's the last day in Paris, and I'm really excited about going back to Taiwan and have some decent rice and noodles.
I decided to spend my last day in France simply wander around and enjoy the view, watch the people and the city. However, it was really a miracle that I brought myself to the Opera without any assistance from the Google Map. I spent some of my time in the Galleries Lafayette, didn't buy anything, just went it to have a piece of the atmosphere. There was a really fantastic building not far away called the Melanie, and I checked out Decathlon which was just on the block.
Many people were inside selecting sportgear and equipment, it was a Monday afternoon and I really didn't know where all these white collars came from. The Decathlon in Paris even sell diving suits and air tanks, which was just too cool to be true. And another thing worth mentioning was that Parisian really like to skate on the little scooter instead of skateboards.
You can see many white collars go shooshing past by on their roller scooter and hurry to work, that's something you don't get to see in Taiwan. Today's basically about walking aimlessly around and try to have a last dip of Parisian style, since I would be heading to the airport the first thing tomorrow morning and that would bring an end to my 20 day trip to Europe.
