Comparing to the Harbor Town in other
cities, the one in Gold Coast was so much bigger and much more fantastic. So
that’s why we decided to pay it a visit, again.
It’s our second time here, two beeps while
getting on and off the bus. The ride was about an hour and most of the people
on the bus were after Harbor Town! Passengers squeezed out of the bus as soon
as we arrived at the stop, afraid that goodies on discount might be swept off
by the others. Roxie and I stepped off gracefully without any rush, thanking
the driver on the way.
This Harbor Town was located between
Brisbane and Gold Coast and it also had the Outlet of David Jones, but the
price labeled were still much out of our budget. Roxie tried on some of the
hats and we took a bunch of funny photos.
This time we had lunch at the restaurant
here which provided its customers three different types of recipe: BBQ, seafood
and Italian. I had a seafood platter which I would definitely be missing very
much after leaving Australia and Roxie had a plate of stewed rice with
mushrooms and cream. They were delicious!
We covered mostly every part of the ground
in Harbor Town, bought some cloths on sale and took the bus back to Surfers
Paradise feeling exhausted but satisfied. I bought two balls of Gelato for us
which was superb but extremely sweet, I had never tried Gelato before and now I
decided that I like it.
Dinner was covered in Woolworths, one pack
of microwaved meal for each of us. What’s funny was that initially Roxie preferred
the Thai Shrimp Spaghetti and I said that I wanted the same. She insisted on us
having different kind of dishes so she chose one with eggplant…not because she
wanted to have it for supper, just that she didn’t want to have the same one
with me.
And it turned out that both our plates
tasted disgusting and weird, but at least my Thai Spaghetti was better than
hers!
