Yay! Gold Coast tomorrow! It even felt exciting to pack our suitcases. We just had a roast chicken together and I was feeling too full to gobble down the last chicken leg, my appetite must have shrunk. It’s alright, I wrapped it up and dropped it at the free food basket.
Back to the morning, I planned on going to see the Rugby Stadium and visited a famous park here in Brisbane but we went the wrong way…
The sun was still hanging high above the sky
and blazing everybody with its shining power. Barracks Center was our first
stop of the day and it was like a small city which was re-decorated from an
antique town. It’s odd that there were only few people around and felt pretty
deserted. Roxie and I continued on Children Bridge and got back to Roma Street,
where we had Pie Face again for breakfast. I had a beef and cheese pie since
Bacon Pie was sold out and it tasted really salty.
By the time we got to the CBD, again, the crowd was starting to swarm and it’s getting hard to walk without bumping into any other pedestrians. We dodged into Priceline Pharmacy to see what the pharmacy was like in Brisbane and it was pretty much the same HAHA. Post Office was closed on the weekend so I guessed the postcards we wrote for our parents would have to until we got to Gold Coast.
Last night at Chill Backpackers, we got up
to the tallest floor and went through the door to the public patio. It’s
actually a pretty nice place with all the view of the city. I guessed Chills could
be count as one of the pretty nice stay that we lived, except its additional
fee on the plates.
