Today’s the day of Fathers, so I’m gonna
keep my journal short XD
We covered a bunch of important deals, ran
around and fixed our stay in Gold Coast. (calling many times to make sure about
the reservation)
Roxie and I also went it down to the transit
centre and checked out about the transportation. Originally we planned on
travelling there by train, first we take the train to Nerang Station then board
the bus to Surfers Paradise. Eventually we found that difficult and would be
taking much of our time, that’s why we picked Greyhound Bus Company at last and
got ourselves a good bargain. The only bad memory about the trip would be the
attitude of the old cashier HAHA.
We visited GPO (General Post Office) again
to mail the big package that Roxie planned on sending back to Taiwan, and it
was a very long way! About the package, it’s about 10 Kilos and cost about
100AUD…
Got some cute kangaroo key rings as
souvenirs and had some Indian burgers for dinner. I was in favor of some hot
dogs from a booth called Snag & Stand but we were too slow on our feet,
they’re already closed by the time we arrived…
Most of our day was consumed by walking and
travelling back and forth, but it’s a really excitement that our visit to the
Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary was just hours away!
