It was raining heavily outside with a
combination of strong wind and lightning. Today’s the first day rain dropped
since coming to Sydney, but the schedule still had to go on.
(We had steak for dinner and it was 2 AUD in
exchange for a fairly big piece. Though I wondered how it tasted so much like
lamb chop…Roxie also bought some mushrooms with eggs in Oyster Sauce, which
tasted great! And finally five sticks of roasted chicken, rounding up the meaty
dinner.)
We went from our hostel all the way to the
North tip of Sydney, just to see the bridge and the Opera House. There was also
this really cool Modern Art Museum ran by a guy called Kendone. It was selling
one of these beautiful and creative jacket, but cost about 100 AUD each… so
much for art HAHA. Roxie twisted her ankle on the wayso we were taking a slower
pace. By the time we reached our destination, the riverside bank where we can
both see the Bridge and the Opera House, there was this really nice gentlemen with
two babies in his hand asking to take our picture, we were really flattered.
Roxie and I also visited an aboriginal store
which contained many beautiful didgeridoos and boomerangs, unlike the cheap
ones selling at the souvenir stores outside, these were real, heavy made of
hardwood. The prices were also pretty hard…
Our last stop today was the custom house, it
was pretty boring except a full modeling landscape of Sydney on the floor,
still worth a visit~
