Got up early in the morning and we set out for
Yosemite Park again because our admission ticket can be used for infinite times
until the 14th of July.
I was quite familiar with the roads so we
don’t really need a map or google anymore, but we stopped more often at random
places for some sights of the mountains for this is our last time here.
To our surprise, on the way to the Park was much more crowded than it was yesterday, and we had to wait at the gate for entry one by one and that took us some time, but totally worth it.
Today we took a better look of the great El
Capitan, a big magnificent mountain which was named after the name of a powerful
Indian Chief;
we visited one of the waterfalls that we had missed yesterday and
again I climbed through the rocks until I was almost underneath it;
we also
visited some of the campsites and hiking treks before finally retreating out of
the Yosemite Park with satisfaction. It was already in the afternoon when we
depart for San Jose.
We stopped at one of the biggest outlet stores near
San Jose to do some free shopping and I bought two pieces of vests, an
Underarmour Backsack and a pair of flipflops, the outlet was quite big and was
divided into 4 sections.
I was a little bit tired from the long drive and turns
in the mountains so it was quite good to take a stroll and relax our legs.
Dinner was at a Vietnamese restaurant for some beef Pho, the size of the dish was super big with huge quantity of meat, though we paid much more here than I did in Vietnam but the meal tasted great.
We visited Google, Apple and Stanford afterwards before retiring to our Airbnb for the night, it was in a quiet compound with three friendly hosts Denice, Eric and Andrew and their cat and dog welcoming us into their warm home. Tomorrow we will be returning the car and that’s really a pity.
