Finally going to Yosemite! We thought we could ask
Stephen to take us to the airport in the morning but we knocked and knocked on
his door so many times but to no response.
So we had no choice but to take an Uber, it’s around 15 dollars but took us directly to the Car rental place near
the airport so it was quite convenient. We waited for like half an hour in line
though we had already booked our ride and finally got ourselves one Mitsubishi
Mirage, it was small, blue, the trunk can only fit in our big suitcase, but it
was comfy enough for the two of us and we get to play our own music from the
USB.

Off we go and left San Francisco, crossing the
bridge and entered a deserted area where what we see are only cows and long
bushes and yellow soil. We had bought snacks and beverages at a supermarket
beforehand and eaten our brunch, so it was okay when we reached Yosemite
Village at around 2 pm.
We stopped occasionally on the way for some photos of
the scenery, the beautiful rocky cliff and the mountains. It took us around 1
hour from the Yosemite Village to the entrance of the park and the path was
winding the whole time which made me dizzy and bored. But eventually we paid 30
dollars and got our admission to the park.
The park was enormous and we stopped whenever we
felt beautiful or worth taking a picture, I love the tunnel view of the
mountains the best, it was magnificent where you get to see the valley and the
waterfall. The lower part of the waterfall was also pretty legit, and I even
climbed through the rocks to get really close to them.
We’ve
decided to come back in the morning because our admission ticket is always
available for entry until the 14th of July, we would be checking out
some of the spots that we had missed, take some other pretty photos and go to
San Jose all happy.
(We chatted with many other backpackers back in our
hostel, they were really nice and curious in sharing and learning about our
trip plan, but most of them were shock that we’ve decided to include San Jose
in our trip haha)
(Speeding Kills the Bears are signs that you see
really often throughout the entire Yosemite Park, but I think the bear is
capable of killing the car and the driver if the two really clashed)
