Some people are extremely afraid of going up on stage, and may even tremble and stutter. I wasn't one of these guys, and I remember to keep myself cool as a cucumber, stay calm most of the time. It isn't that I am not afraid of going up on stage, and I won't feel nervous about it. Just like most people, I practice my speech, presentation thoroughly, as many times as possible before going up on stage, this is one of the best ways to cure stage fright: lots and lots of practice.
I always imagine the audience's reaction when if I forgot my lines, or wonder off with my head on stage, the embarrassment it would bring! When I keep that in mind, I try my best to prepare beforehand. As said in the video, many people have stage fright, but some managed to hide his or her nervousness behind a mask, as soon as he/she marches on to the stage. However, there are still many who can't do that.
If you really want to overcome stage fright, there are no drugs, or tips can help you (Of course some drugs or booze can make you feel floaty and confident, however you won't be conscious and clear of what you're talking about) The most efficient and useful way is by practicing over and over again, for practice makes perfect.
