Sometimes we carry on with our life, and start to forget about its meaning, or excitement, feeling bored through regular, and custom everyday events. It's like getting married with your other half for many decades and many couples start to forget about the initial passion and joy. These ain't wrong, it's just how most people's feelings gradually change towards. However, to change such situation, we have a few options: to separate one another, to cause a big shock, or to have a taste of death.
The above factors can cause someone to realize, how good it is to stay alive, and to have a life, and to share it with the ones you love. It kinds of pull your soul back to reality, away from complaining, robotic jobs and mindless thinking. Shock gives you a jolt, and just like the taste of death, it generates fear and make you wonder, what am I going to do if I lose all my friends, especially myself? Ric of Ted lecture today had been through a plane crash, and he is ready to share his experience, of how his life afterwards the plane crash changed.
For one thing, I admired Ric, for he endured such catastrophe, yet stood up in and decided to face it after that. He didn't choose to run away or cry and started taking his life down slopes, which many people did. Many of those victims of such accidents live the rest of their life in therapy and helper facilities, Ric didn't. He thinks of this as an opportunity and realized what he had missed in the past; he learned to be strong, and admired his life; he went around lecturing, trying to teach this kind of feeling to the rest of the audiences. However, it;s just much harder to speak about it, if you haven't really been in the situation. Of course, no one would suggest the other to really have a taste of death, only to get this kind of emotion, but it's a desperate need for many people, to find the spark that can once again ignite their lives.
