TED/Anne-Marie Slaughter: Can we all "have it all"?

Here Anne Marie is to discuss about the matters of female in the society, and feminism. We are now in a modern world, far improved from the ages of patriarchal. However, why still can't the women have it all? Why can't most of the women get paid equally like the men did with the same positions? We are aware that many of the situations had already been fixed and are much better than the past, but still not the best! (Declared by Marie)

I found this video extremely interesting, specially from the perspective of Marie and how she put it. I agree that it's time both the sexes become equal and treated the same. Women may be known inferior to men in strength and physical, generally, however, they have their own strengths and places where they are more superior! Not only these, there are also many aspects where the female exceeds the male and make men look down at their feet feeling ashamed.

In the end, the problem exists in the companies' working system and how they function. Of course, strong arm women exist and some even run the whole company from the inside out. But when we talk about the situations of most women and how they were treated, we don't see the big picture... take the basic for example, and never mind the feminism in Marie's speech, why is it always the bigger piece, and most abused in families the women? And why aren't they paid the same salary for the same job? I think it's time the companies, and many people's minds be removed off this stereotype that women are weaker than men.

Nurses are no longer consisted of women, and women can become a doctor, too. How are we going to say about that? The world is changing, and if the systems don't change soon enough, it's not just a warning, but fact that these companies that still hold the traditional thinking of women as the inferior, will soon be going down into the graves. So I guess this piece of TED speech is just a stick that stirred everyone up from the dream of gender unfairness, and a warn shot from reality.
