TED/Sally Kohn: Let’s try emotional correctness

For the first time, someone comes out from behind the curtains and stated straight out that she's a progressive lesbian talker. And people cheered for her directness and courage.
Sally had been studying on the political terms and situation raging on throughout the entire world for almost her entire life and came up with several reviews and results. She's happy to share them with the crowd about her own opinions as we listen intensively.

Miss Kohn said that the arguments and disputes between nations or happening in the international channel weren't because of political correctness, but rather emotional correctness.

Sometimes a quarrel evolve into a fight, not because of some rules on politics, instead, it involves the emotional changes and the feelings deep down inside of these "heads". Sometimes its due to their honor, or moral, maybe just a little bit about feeling respected.

It turns out that these disputes weren't really about benefit of their countries, in these cases the politicians were proven to be really selfish. However, it's all about themselves and how their image came out in other people's point of view.

So to conclude things up, if we were to hope for a peaceful environment surrounded by harmony, it's necessary to choose patient and good tempered candidates as our future politicians!
