Many countries, and their societies, like the ones still developing in the regions of Africa, sub-Sahara Desert. The people there aren't living in condos or villas, or even a regular mansion, indeed, some of the people are lodging in small spaces made of clay and stones. So what really is the difference, and what made it so different of these countries and made them rich and poor?
Mr. Kere is here to discuss the question, for he came from a poor place, but strove to be a better person, no matter in body or mind, or authorities and power. At least he found his way out of clay made houses and is now living in an ordinary one, he claimed.
And while he himself is out of the water, he's looking for more chances to help the others, the poor ones in Africa, who are suffering from famine and wars. Actually, the problem of clay made houses are just a small problem, in representation of other issues happening throughout the world. It's main point is to strike the phenomenon of unequal properties disposal, and the situation of nowadays societies.
However, this problem isn't that easy to solve, and it requires help from many others. So I guess that's why Mr Kere tried to ask for other's helping hands through telling his story, of how he once lived in houses made of clay, and how we could help to made a better community, for everyone.
