It's Father's Day today, but too bad I was not at home celebrating the day with my dad. I had discovered that the Vietnamese were a big fan of the festival, for once I checked out of the hotel, the lobby had this Happy Father's Day banner hanging just by the ceiling. And families accompanied by sons and daughters were much more than the rest of the days, or was it just my illusion?
I headed straight for the Supercenter and rested in Lotteria once I had checked out of the hotel. The sun was big outside, which was a never changing face. So I took out of my phone, searched for some information of my next destination: Ha Noi and recorded some notes. I went on to reading my book after feeling settled and prepared for my final spot in Vietnam.
I hit the office of Sinh Tourist in the afternoon, sat there and waited patiently for my bus to arrive.
When it was a little bit past five, four female backpackers arrived and said that they were also going to Ha Noi. It's when one of the clerks told us to follow him, that he would bring us to the place where we would be boarding our bus. (The arrangement of Sinh Tourist is just getting weirder and weirder)
I was really glad that my trip here in Vietnam is going to be over, and would be heading for Hong Kong soon, right after a 3 day-stay in Ha Noi.
I was getting really tired of all the bus-taking, hotel-booking and all the transferring.
Hoof, Ha Noi, I'm coming!
(One thing that made the night trip to Ha Noi better than the rest of the bus rides was that it really offered Wifi Connection, and also a toilet. FINALLY)
