8/14 Mongkok Window Shopping

The rain has finally stopped, though there were some drizzle from time to time but it was already much better than the big rain in the last few days.

I had planned to go window shopping in Mongkok, in a light pace and to relax. I wasn't planning on a visit to Hong Kong island or the Tai Ping Mountain. Mongkok was full of special and stylish shops, but most of the merchandises were too expensive for a backpacker like me, to buy. Most of the products were even more expensive than Taiwan's!

While I was window shopping, I glimpsed at a 50 HKD that was left on the street, a little bit wet from the puddle, someone must have dropped it in a hurry. However, no one seemed to take any notice of the cash, and all continued forward. Maybe that was just too small a value to the locals to even bend their backs XD

There were many more coins on the floor as I approached and went deeper into the Mongkok center, who were throwing all these coins around?! Were the people here too rich or what?

Anyway, it felt pretty good to be in the city center for a while, though I didn't spend any money on anything, but it was nice to get to know deeper about the pop culture of Hong Kong.

Going to bed at exactly 10 tonight, for I would have to get up at 5 tomorrow morning in order to catch the A21 bus, it's much more convenient and a lot cheaper than the other ways, though it takes longer time.
