Didn't get a good night sleep last night, from all the excitement and worry about finally being able to go home. It felt good to come out of one's safety zone and to see the world, do some explorations and learn the others' culture. However, it gets lonely as the time drags and I really miss Taiwan.
I couldn't bear to go back to sleep at about 4, so I stopped to play the song of Skylar Grey's Coming Home, it really was a boost to my adrenaline. I was shivering all over the body, not from the cold, but from the excitement; there seemed to be a small animal hopping up and down in my tummy, and I just couldn't wait anymore in the small room. I dashed out at about 5:30, ran across the street to the bus stop, and there were already many passengers in waiting.
A21 wasn't supposed to be arriving until 6, but mine got here at the 50, which was pretty cool. I made my way straight to the second level, tried my best to relax and enjoy the morning view. We were stopping at a lot of stops, picking up more people until the bus was finally full, but my flight wasn't in a hurry.
I went straight to check in in one of the Cathay counters, the clerks were so much faster than the ones in Hanoi, I was in great gratitude to their speed and politeness.
Following up by the X-ray scan, body scan and all the immigration procedures that I had been through many times in this trip. It took a while to wait in the line, but the customs were fast.
I was fast on my feet, but the number of people made me barely missed my 8:15 flight. Imagined a few delay of the bus, or check in, I wouldn't be flying home this lucky XD
At last I landed safely and was back to my home country, where my smiley parents picked me up at the airport and we all hugged tight, giving this trip a wonderful ending.
I must say that I had grown through this trip, to experiences so many crazy things: the gay approach, the night outside of the airport, the time when our bus hit the cow...
I might have become more independent or mature, on the inside, thanks to my parents and all that had supported me throughout the trip, I wouldn't have accomplished any of these without anyone of you.
Now, the trip to the South East Asia was officially over, it lasted for 43 days from 7/4 to 8/15, a little bit shorter than the Australian vacation, but much more exhausting. Looking forward to the next trip, I guess XD
