The same thing happened the next morning, with loud noises of constructing and walls pounding early in the morning. It felt like a really bad musician who was trying to play with a saw on the violin. I tried covering my ears but to no effect. My ride was at 7 in the afternoon, but so far, I had decided to move out early, at 7 in the morning... 12 hours before my ride is ready to go.
The weather was cool as cucumber, just kidding, it was still freakingly hot. I was sweating and exhausted from all the traveling with big bag on the shoulders and a small bag in my arms.
I had gave up the idea of having another look at the rest of Nha Trang for the day, and decided to just hang by the restaurant till night.
It felt refreshing and easy just to hang back and watch the pedestrians pass, listen to the music and enjoy the day. Why do traveling have always to be fast and from places to places? Let's just kick back and enjoy.
It wasn't until almost six did I start out for Sinh Tourist office, it's time to take the night ride to Hoi An. And now I really understood the phrase: what a small world... for I crossed path with the puking girl from the same van on my trip from Da Lat to Nha Trang.
There were some Koreans boarding the bus, and the rest were mostly foreigners. Unfortunately, my seat number was 1 this time, which was right behind the driver seat. It was most cramped than the others, but I guessed that would have to do.
Again, no wifi, even though it had bold letters of: FREE WIFI written on the side of the bus.
The driver was driving at a fast pace, taking over the others and honking even though it's getting late.
I tried to get myself to sleep but only to find myself gazing out of the mirror, and a little bit afraid. I was pretty worried about crashing into the other cars, for the driver and I would be the first two to endure the impact. In this case, I'm totally handing my life into the hand of the driver, and he was being really reckless.
In the end, I didn't sleep much for the night, and was glad to arrived at our destination in one piece, sound and safe.
Well, the guy next to me snored like thunder for the whole trip, guessed that worrying about the traffic wasn't on the top of list in his mind.
