Coldness and humidity were the two most essential elements here in Da Lat. In such a weather, I would prefer to hugging the bed and staying inside to going out for a walk, but still, I put on my clothes and headed out with an umbrella.
I bought a pack of four yogurts and had only eaten one so far, three more to go in such a cold day. My favorite kind of berage in South East Asia: fresh juice, had only been consumed a third of the bottle, due to the cold weather.
As I headed down to the town center, which was located at a flat spot beneath the hills, sun started to pop out of the sky and the rain miraculously stopped!
I exclaimed and retrieved my umbrella back into the pack, mood was starting to light up.
Following the address, I climbed the hills in search of the legendary tourist spot here in Da Lat, the Crazy House. It really was a cool house with big old trees surrounding the building, antiques lying around and clayish crafts.
There was a place of worship just by the Crazy House, and was highly recommended by my Gps, I was really about this sight and paid it a visit, only to discover that it was only a local church.
Had Lotteria, kind of like Mc Donald's for dinner, the Big Star Combo meal was really good: roast beef with creamy cheese slices. I dodged into one of the alleys and sought for souvenirs, had another taste of the locals and their traditions. Just out of a sudden, rain started to pile down, again, which drove me straight back to the hotel feeling cold and slimy.
The bus was 7:30 the next morning, better had my stuff packed and everything packed early, since I tend to sleep late in winter days, ha.
