TED/Hans Rosling: Stats that reshape your worldview

Hans is just one of the normal stats guy, an analyst, before he went on the stage and presented what he discovered in the statistic world. In most people's point of view, when we see the world, we see nations of different economy, for example. America, the strongest, both the military and the economy system, which was followed by the EU.

As for some countries we're always defining as the remote countries, like Africa, China... However, if we just look at the stats of their importing and exporting, plus their goods bargaining, we can discover that most of their statistics are improving and raising.

These countries, China, India, Africa, should be no more known as the developing countries, for they are chasing up the rest of the nations step by step and from behind. The influences of China are becoming so big that it can't be ignored. The labor from the country, and how a lot of things are produced inside their factories, and how many merchants are building plants and investing money in the land...

One day we lose this "developing country" the world system goes berserk.

So if we all please, stop looking at the world like how it was to be, the Western people are stronger and in control of the whole world, we're just wrong. And that's stereotype! According to the statistics, the world is changing ,and changing fast. That's why our worldview should be changed, just to fit in with the nowadays world.
