TED/Arthur Benjamin does “Mathemagic”

Today's just a very fun lecture, with many demonstrations and lot of laughter. What's a mathemagician? I've heard of mathematics, I've heard of magician, but what becomes of it when these two were combined? Let me guess, it will have something to do with performing magic with math. It should also be fun.

Arthur is one of the rare mathemagicians in the world, and he will be trying to convince the audiences that he can read people's mind. It can be a number, or an equation, or a math resolution, and he would be trying to figure out the answer, not from the lips of the audiences, but the minds.

Impossible! You may say, but he is going to demonstrate it on the stage, in front of hundreds of eyes, and to my amazement, it's a great show. What does that mean? It means that he succeeded. Oops sorry, am I spoiling it for you. You should go watch it yourself and enjoy the magic show.
