TED/Elizabeth Gilbert: Your elusive creative genius

Sometimes we envy the geniuses, of how they can think of good ideas and invent stuff, or come up with such creative insights that we may never think of. It's true that these geniuses are rare, and most of them are winning prizes and doing their contribution throughout the world. However, we may not be aware that, there's a small genius inside everybody.

First, let's define genius, which can be categorized in many ways, but mostly, it has something to do with smart ideas and fast reaction during thinking. It isn't a hard thing to achieve, indeed. Sometimes, we just need to read more books, go out and see more, or study and practice more often, and we can become one of the geniuses in most people's eyes.

However, that's not the kind of geniuses we are talking about today. We shouldn't just ramble on about the surface of geniuses and ignore the creativity inside them. Geniuses are often very creative, and that's why most of them have jobs, or are doing something about creating, or manufacturing new stuff in different territories.

And now, hold back your jealousy and focus on those geniuses whose cleverness isn't born with them. They were normal human beings just like we are, and there must be ways of how they are achieving their current state, which is hard work, the the extreme use of their own creativity. If we can possess those factors and use them to its full limit, I believe we can all become geniuses.
