I am Sam. I am stupid but diligent. I haven’t got the brightest of minds when I was born so it’s up to my hard work to make up for this shortage. I have always been slow in understanding the meaning of words and passages, and it also takes me a while to respond to others’ questions. My friends used to kid about this being the “brain lag”, which is sadly a fact, for I’m totally a slow thinker. In order to keep up with the others, I’m willing to spend more time and energy. I work hard struggling to follow up, spent hours and hours in front of the desk trying to overcome this problem. And so far, it’s been working pretty well for me. My mom used to preach me about this slow reaction issue of mine, diligence is the final medium that we came across to. Of course I would have hoped for a better brain that can function more smoothly, but if this is what God intends to make of me, I’ve got to find my way around the barrier. And so far I ‘m glad to say that I have.
